I am planning to participate in an old tradition of peaceful protest this September 11th. It is called a “General Strike” and has been used to bring attention to various issues through the years. The idea is that a loss of productivity and tax revenues will get the attention of the powers that be. This first year it may not be millions of people, but certainly a couple hundred-thousand will participate. Today they mercilessly demonize Iran, so we’ll back the slaughter of millions more in the Middle East. A couple of years ago, it was Iraq and a couple of years before that it was Afghanistan.

The current U.S. government believes that torture and no Due Process is proper treatment for “terrorists”. To quote Dr. Ron Paul: “How do we know who the terrorists are without a trial?”
